Brown Line service has been temporarily suspended between the Kimball and Belmont Stations on Chicago’s Northwest Side due to track conditions, the CTA said.

The CTA first posted the service alert on its website at 4:58 a.m. Sunday. No further information on the track conditions was provided.

Shuttle buses are available between both stations, officials said. Trains are continuing to operate between Belmont and the Loop.

“We are working to restore service as quickly as possible,” the CTA said.
