Brooklyn woman awakens to burglar sexually assaulting her

A Brooklyn woman woke up to a burglar sexually assaulting her in her bed, cops said Sunday.

The 43-year-old victim was sleeping when the attacker broke into her apartment near Middagh and Henry Sts. in Brooklyn Heights about 1:55 a.m. Friday, police said.

She woke up when the man got on top of her sexually assaulting her, cops said. She screamed and he fled, taking her wallet with him.

Cops released a sketch of the suspect and are asking the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.
