A woman who died at a Bronx psychiatric center nine months ago was possibly strangled and her death is being investigated as a homicide, police said Thursday.

Victim Jessica Miller, 40, was found dead inside her 1500 Waters Place apartment around 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 6, cops said.

Her home was inside the Bronx Psychiatric Center, which also provides addiction treatment services, according to officials.

Cops initially found no signs of trauma on Miller’s body, but an autopsy later determined that she died from “compression of the neck,” a spokeswoman for the city’s Medical Examiner said.

Her death was listed as a homicide earlier this week after the ME amended her death certificate to suspicious.

No arrest has been made.
