High-speed rail provider Brightline, which launches its Orlando service on Sept. 22, has partnered with Mears Transportation for connectivity beginning Oct. 4 to Orlando International Airport, the rail company announced Wednesday.
Mears will be incorporated into the Brightline app and website for the rail provider’s Shared Connect Shuttle, which connects to more than 25 of Orlando’s “top resorts,” as well as for “luxury private rides.”
In addition, Brightline customers can now receive preferred pricing from Avis in the Orlando airport, and the rail company has extended its Uber partnership in South Florida to Orlando, allowing customers to book Uber rides through the Brightline app and website when making train reservations. However, the free rides within a five-mile radius for premium ticketholders does not apply in Orlando.
