Following her sets at Reading and Leeds Festival over the weekend, Billie Eilish played an intimate show at London’s Electric Ballroom tonight (August 29). At the 1,500-person capacity venue, she brought out surprise guests Boygenius for “When the Party’s Over” and Labrinth for their collaboration “Never Felt So Alone.” Before introducing the trio, Eilish reportedly told the crowd to lower their phones so she could see their faces while she introduced the next guest. “I’m in love with all three of them, truly,” she said after Boygenius left the stage. Watch footage of Eilish and Boygenius below and a video of her with Labrinth on X.

While her last album, Happier Than Ever, came out back in 2021, Eilish has stayed busy with new music this year. She hopped into the studio to join Labrinth on the aforementioned “Never Felt So Alone” and made a surprise appearance during his Coachella set for its live debut together. She also unveiled “What Was I Made For?,” her contribution to the Barbie movie soundtrack. The latter arrived with a music video in which Eilish attempts to dress a lookalike Barbie doll in miniature high fashion outfits while a fan constantly blows everything off the table.

Boygenius released their debut album, The Record, in March. The trio will go on an extensive fall tour in Europe and North America, including a headlining show at Madison Square Garden in October.

Listen to Boygenius talk about friendship, “sad girl” indie rock, and more in their episode of The Pitchfork Review podcast.
