What is Best of Weedmaps?
We created the Best of Weedmaps award in 2020 to celebrate retailers and brands (new for 2022) that go that extra mile in providing you with top-shelf quality listing pages and the best customer service. This year you chose the winners by ordering, favoriting, and reviewing your favorite businesses, so it is with the highest honors that we announce our 2022 winners.
Look for the trophy icon across the site to know which businesses are the Best of Weedmaps. You can use the map filter to find dispensary and delivery winners in your area and check out the “Best of Weedmaps” Brand page to find winning products in your area.
How we picked the winners
This year, Weedmaps selected the nominees, but the public selected the winners. To select the nominees, our internal algorithm took into account multiple data points including the consistency, completeness, and regular maintenance of the listings. It also looked at how engaged the business is with consumers. All nominees had a minimum 4-star review rating.
To help their favorite business win, Weedmaps users could favorite, review, and order during the month of September to cast their votes. At the end of the month, we tallied up the scores and awarded 200 dispensaries, 100 delivery services, and 100 brands across the United States and Canada.
