BEST MOTHER’S DAY CAKES

Mother’s Day Cakes! Here are some of our favorites. Mother’s Day is almost here.  Show her just how much you love and appreciate her by baking her the perfect Mother’s Day cake. Here are some of our favorite cake recipes that will look great on your dessert table.

Best Mother’s Day Cakes

Mandarin Orange Cake– this is the perfect spring/summer cake. It has wonderful reviews and is always a hit. This cake is known in the South as a “Pig Lickin Cake.”

Sour Cream Coconut Cake – This delicious cake is one of our most popular! Super easy to make, and your Mother will love it! You may also like our coconut cream poke cake.

Southern Pound Cake-I can’t say enough about this cake. I think it’s the perfect dessert, but I’ve loved it since I was a little girl. Not many cakes can stand on their own, but this one can. It doesn’t need any frosting or fruit; it’s just that good.

If chocolate is your thing, then you may want to try our Chocolate Pound Cake. It has a chocolate chip glaze and is delicious.

Exquisite Chocolate Cherry Cake – This cake is easy to make, has wonderful reviews, and is absolutely delicious!

Kentucky Butter Cake-this cake has been around for a very long time because it’s just a wonderful recipe. It has great reviews and is one that you’ll make over and over.

Hummingbird Cake-a true southern recipe that is made with bananas and pineapple. This will be a great addition to your menu for Mother’s Day.

Lemony Chess Cake-if your Mom is a lemon fan, then this is the cake for her! It’s delicious, and the glaze makes it so pretty.

Easy Strawberry Coconut Cake – This cake is made with a mix and really good! It’s a delicious summer cake, and you can easily decorate it with flowers! It is beautiful as a centerpiece.

Vanilla Wafer Cake-my Mom made us this cake when my sister and I were little, and we loved it. It’s a great recipe to make for your Mother’s Day cake. I highly recommend it.

Orange Kiss Me Cake – This is a vintage recipe from the 1950s and is so good! It is made with the entire orange and has a wonderful texture.

Do Nothing Cake – Want easy? Here you go! You don’t even have to get out the mixer to make this cake, and it’s always a huge hit!

Strawberry Whipped Cream Cake-this dessert is made with an old-fashioned vanilla hot milk cake. It’s DELICIOUS!

Lemon Loaf Cake-this simple loaf cake comes together quickly and is full of flavor!
