The project will have to overcome a hurdle from earlier in the month as Scottsdale’s Airport Advisory Commission voted against the project in a 7-0 vote on Jan. 17. The commission heard and received comments from residents in the nearby Stonebrook neighborhood, which spoke out against the traffic impact, land-use designation and building heights.
