Talented young footballer Aric Argent experienced overseas competition at the Easter International Cup in Orlando, Florida, this weekend.

He represented the Northeast Surf Select 2012 boys team, helping them reach the semi-finals of the tournament before losing to 3-2 to Jupiter United Soccer.

Argent plays locally for the Warwick Football Academy Under-11 PSV.

Richard Todd, the Warwick Football Academy technical director, said: “The opportunity for this experience with Surf Select is provided through the partnership between Warwick Football Academy and International Development Academy, which helps to propel the development of our elite players through experiences that provide exposure to high levels of play and competitions in jurisdictions around the world.”

The Warwick Football Academy is a Warwick Academy based sports programme, which includes players from the school and wider Bermuda community.
