Amtrak officials anticipate ‘delays,’ ‘breaks’ in service in Northeast Corridor

WASHINGTON — Amtrak officials on Saturday morning told customers that they are expecting service adjustments in the Northeast Corridor due to a winter storm.

They’re encouraging travelers to monitor the status of their train for departure times.

Early Saturday afternoon, officials indicated via social media that all train service in the Northeast Corridor is experiencing delays due to downed power lines blocking tracks east of New York.
