Update 3/5/23: Another round of shut down letters has gone out. Seems unrelated to money order deposits this time but who knows for sure.
(Update 3/9/21: Another round of Alliant shutdowns came out over the past number of days. This time it might be for other reasons, unrelated to money order deposits which was the reason last time.)
Alliant has sent out a physical letter to some members letting them know their accounts will be terminated on 4/17/19. The full letter can be seen below:
The common thread of shut down reports seems to be people doing mobile deposits of money orders.
