Greetings,

Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) has great news to share as we near the end of 2022! We have officially adopted the final set of administrative rules needed to implement the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act (ORS 475A).

We are pleased to present: Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) Chapter 333, Division 333: Psilocybin. In addition, a Letter to the Public and Hearings Officer Report summarize feedback we received during the public comment period and some of the decisions that were made by the agency.

With the adoption of these rules, the Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) section will begin accepting applications for four licensure types on January 2, 2023.

OHA’s role includes the regulation of these licensees. Persons operating outside the licensed system may be subject to criminal penalties which is a matter for local or state law enforcement.

With the close of 2022, we bring an end to the development period in the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act (ORS 475A) and shift into launching the nation’s first regulatory framework for psilocybin services!

With gratitude,

The Oregon Psilocybin Services Team
