Air New Zealand on Oct. 30 resumed its nonstop service between Auckland and Chicago, the carrier announced Monday. Initially, the route will operate three times weekly, each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The resumption of Chicago means Air New Zealand is back to serving all 29 of its international pre-Covid destinations, according to the carrier. Its six North American destinations are Honolulu, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Vancouver.

The carrier also will resume its seasonal service to Bali between March 29 and Oct. 27, 2023, operating three times weekly, each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
