Air Canada is set to upgrade its lounge and cabin experiences as well as expand its chauffeur service, the carrier announced Thursday.

Starting Nov. 1, Air Canada said it will restore its premium cabin service both pre-departure and in-flight. In addition, Air Canada Signature Class passengers on international flights will receive an amenity kit with Acqua di Parma skincare products, an eye mask, socks, dental products and 3M earplugs. Customers in international Premium Economy and North America Signature Class overnight flights will receive an amenity kit with eye mask, socks and dental products.

The carrier also is “elevating” its culinary service for both international and North American economy-class flights. Those passengers on international routes will receive a hot entrée, appetizer and dessert. North American routes will offer what the carrier called expanded and healthier Air Canada Bistro choices.

Air Canada Rouge, an Air Canada subsidiary, on Nov. 1 will begin to offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi service to premium customers across its fleet of 39 aircraft. Further, Air Canada will complete the installation of inflight Wi-Fi on the remaining 10 percent of its mainline fleet in 2023.

Maple Leaf lounges in North America have begun to feature new food-and-beverage offerings with expanded options, according to the carrier. At all airport hubs, Air Canada has resumed full buffet service with additional menu items. The carrier also has added new priority access lanes to select Maple Leaf lounges during peak times to offer Super Elite and Business Class customers priority entry.

Further, starting in November, Air Canada Chauffeur Service will be introduced at Vancouver International Airport. Eligible connecting international Signature Class customers arriving from within Canada will be met by a concierge before being driven in a hybrid or electric Porsche vehicle to an Air Canada Signature Suite. The service currently is available at Toronto Pearson Airport.
