The American Hotel & Lodging Association has appointed former United Nations Foundation executive Anna Blue president of AHLA Foundation, the company’s charitable organization effective Jan. 22, the organization announced Monday.  

Blue joins the AHLA Foundation following her most recent position as co-executive director of Girl Up at the United Nations Foundation. Blue previously held executive-level roles with Tech Coalition and The Female Quotient, according to AHLA.  

Blue steps into the role previously held by Rosanna Maietta, who departed AHLA in September 2022. 

AHLA also named Jacqueline Policastro executive vice president of marketing and communications of the AHLA Foundation, effective Jan. 17. Policastro joins the foundation following her nine-year tenure with Gray Television as Washington bureau chief, according to AHLA.
