AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – The Agawam Lion’s Club inducted 14 new members Wednesday night, marking a significant milestone for the organization.

Now bringing them to 86 members total. It is expected that these new members will bring fresh ideas and energy to the club, further strengthening their efforts in supporting the community.

With their help, the club can continue to host successful fundraisers including their summer concert series and chicken BBQ at the Big E. Funds will support town organizations, school activities and the Massachusetts Eye Research Foundation.

“Their fantastic for taking their time their efforts in a day when everybody is so busy to come here and support their community,” said Agawam Lions Club President, Chris Woods.

This induction ceremony is a huge moment for the club as it coincides with their 80th anniversary, showing their long-standing commitment to making a positive impact in their community.
