With its haunting yet euphoric sound, Innellea‘s new single is the antidote to our dystopian doldrums.

The Afterlife stalwart has unveiled “Silence,” a collaboration with fellow German melodic techno artist Maurice Kaar. It’s an anthem for the isolated, where tense techno beats delve into the solitude of the human soul and soundtrack a plea for the sweet embrace of connection in a world of distance.

“Silence” will appear on Innellea’s upcoming debut album The Belonging, which will feature collaborations with Flowdan, Monolink and CamelPhat, among others. Focusing on the theme of “collective catharsis,” the album will likely explore existentialism and our ability to create our own sense of meaning.

“As personal crises are part of life, we want to go through this journey collectively and include everyone around us who might be silent, burned out and struggling, as so many these days are asking ourselves, ‘Where do I belong?'” Innellea said in a statement. “Together, we will go forward through all the insanity to reach where we truly belong.”

The Belonging is scheduled to release on February 9th, 2024 via Innellea’s own imprint, Distorted Youth. Watch the “Silence” music video below and pre-save the album here.
