London-based serviced apartment platform AltoVita has appointed former TravelPerk executive Ivan Peralta as chief technology officer, the company announced Tuesday.

The news follows a $9.5 million Series A investment win for AltoVita and supports the company’s digital-first strategy within the corporate accommodation market.

“Technology is the future of corporate accommodation, and we’ve seen a phenomenal uptake of smart solutions from travel management companies to corporate hospitality operators in the last 12 months alone,” Peralta said in a statement.

AltoVita plans to include in its platform 2.5 million properties globally by the end of 2023, according to the company, adding to its current portfolio of more than one million properties across 165 countries and five continents.
