AC Slater is back with his third studio album, Together. As you might have gathered from the title, Together is a celebration of community and uplifting the people around you. As you might expect from an AC Slater album, Together is compiled entirely of collabs, including ones with previous collaborators Chris Lorenzo, Kaleena Zanders, Murkage Dave and many others from the Night Bass roster.

The album also showcases AC Slater’s versatile productions. There’s a couple of absolute heaters like the album opener, “Until the Morning” and the Chris Lorenzo collab, “I Believe.” There’s a couple of after-hours tracks like “Night Rider” and “Lose My Mind.” And there’s also some uplifting, euphoric house tracks like “Can U Handle It”, “Blue June” and “Screenshots.” The Night Bass head honcho had this to say about Together.

“The idea of ‘Together’ is nothing new to me. Strength in numbers has always been important in my life. Anyone who knows me knows my motto: ‘I just want to do cool sh*t with cool people.’ The feeling of sharing a journey together with people you love is unlike anything else. Building something TOGETHER. I have always been an extremely shy person from a very young age, and even up to now. It was something that stood in my way, but I am able to overcome it with the feeling of love and support from the people around me.

I don’t do any of this by myself. I have a small circle of close friends around me who support me, and I support them. I love to give back to the next generation of DJs. Someone paved the way for us, and we’re paving the way for someone else. I think it’s important to teach them to support the ones after them. Being a musical artist isn’t about me, it’s about building a musical family and making everyone around us know that they are a part of something together.”

AC Slater will also be hitting the road next month in support of the album. He’s sure to be bringing a few friends along. Listen to AC Slater’s latest album, Together out now on Night Bass. Click here for show & ticket info. Tour dates below.
