Merrick Garland defends handling of Trump, Hunter Biden probes in combative House hearing

Testifying for more than five hours before the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee Wednesday, Attorney General Merrick Garland defended the veracity of the Justice Department’s investigations into former President Donald Trump and Hunter Biden, son of President Biden. Garland said that “no one” from the Biden administration “told me to indict” Trump.
