Total Fire Protection has opened its new headquarters in Woodbury.

The company, which inspects, installs and services fire suppression systems, recently completed extensive renovations of the 31,250-square-foot building it purchased in 2021 at 111 Crossways Park Drive West.

The $6.15 million acquisition and renovation project was assisted by economic incentives from the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency. It allowed Total Fire to consolidate its former headquarters in Brooklyn and a satellite office in Bellmore into the revamped Woodbury property.

“We wanted to have a corporate headquarters for our business that was large enough to establish a training curriculum for technicians and mechanics for future career opportunities,” said Joseph Capone, owner and president of Total Fire Protection. “What we’re strategizing towards is a collaborative and culture-driven workplace.”

The company currently employs a staff of 205 and will add 28 employees over the next three years, according to IDA documents. The firm’s new Woodbury complex was designed by Spector Companies.

“We made this big investment in an effort to attract Long Island’s top talent in hopes of further growing the company,” Capone said.

Founded in 1999, Total Fire Protection provides businesses and municipalities with fire-safety services, employing certified technicians to ensure that its client’s premises meet National Fire Protection Association codes, OSHA regulations, and local laws.
