‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton’s husband, Caleb, dead at 40

Caleb Willingham, the husband of “1000-Lb. Sisters” star Tammy Slaton, has died. He was 40.

Slaton, 36, took to Instagram Saturday to mourn Willingham, who she married late last year.

“RIP sweet angel. You will forever be missed and loved so much,” Slaton captioned several photos of herself and Willingham, but did not disclose a cause of death. “Thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️.”

Slaton and Willingham — also referred to as “Killa K” or “Double K” — met last year while both were in rehab to tackle their struggles with obesity. At the time of publication, Willingham had only appeared in one episode of the TLC reality series.

The couple’s wedding, which took place last November at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio, was featured on an episode in March.

“When I saw Caleb at the altar, I was just picturing doves and butterflies all around like God had opened up the clouds and let the sunlight in,” Slaton at the time told People of the milestone. Calling Willingham her “best friend,” Slaton said “there was so much love in the room” during the “magical” day.

Despite the seemingly happy ending, the couple reportedly separated in May and were still estranged at the time of Willingham’s death, with Slaton on the road to filing for divorce.
