In addition to a robust look at gameplay in Pikmin 4, today’s Nintendo Direct brought a small fun update on the older games in the series.

Whether you played the originals in 2001 and 2004 on GameCube, or you’ve always been curious to try out those early games in the franchise, Nintendo is providing a chance to explore the games once again. HD versions of both projects are headed into the Nintendo eShop today.

Both games were critically lauded in their day for the creative approach they took to puzzles and problem solving, as well as the charming presentation and setting.
