Air Canada has selected Chooose as its new carbon offset partner, the carrier announced Tuesday. The options to purchase verified carbon offsets have been integrated into the carrier’s Canadian and U.S. booking websites, where the Chooose platform estimates greenhouse gas emissions. When purchased, the customer receives a certificate confirming the offset. Loyalty program Aeroplan members also have options to redeem points in exchange for carbon offsets provided by Chooose via the Aeroplan e-store, according to Air Canada.
