Baby Gronk is making waves on TikTok; explaining the viral sensation

Words like “Baby Gronk,” “Livvy” and “rizz” are taking over TikTok, and many on the internet are wondering what everyone is talking about.

The sensation centers around a 10-year-old football player known as Baby Gronk, whose parents uploaded a video to his YouTube page in March titled “LIVVY DUNNE KNOWS I GOT RIZZ.”

The viral clip shows Baby Gronk, whose real name is Madden San Miguel, meeting Louisiana State University gymnast Olivia Dunne on the LSU campus.

TikTok user Henry De Tolla, then took a snippet from the original video and added his own commentary in a new clip he shared which has 2.3 million views.

“Livvy just convinced Baby Gronk to commit to LSU,” De Tolla claims in the video. “Livvy rizzed him up.”

“If you don’t know what these words mean, it just sounds like I’m speaking gibberish almost,” De Tolla, a current University of Massachusetts Lowell lacrosse player, told NBC News.

The term “rizz” is a slang word that relates to charming or seducing another individual, and is a play on the word charisma, according to to Dictionary.com.

Madden’s nickname, “Baby Gronk,” is a reference to retired NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski, who’s known affectionately as “Gronk.”

In a recent interview with the Atlantic, Madden’s father, Jake San Miguel, said that his goal is to build his son “a platform and a following where he is making money now and it’s going into a savings account.”

“That way he can live a good life without struggle or worry,” the proud pop continued. “It’s the insurance behind sports. You don’t have to go pro anymore. Like Livvy Dunne, she’s set for life already because of the internet.”

Olivia “Livvy” Dunne, is a junior at LSU and a rising social media star who is said to make seven figures through her social media channels and endorsements.
