Diablo 4 error codes are not something you want to see as they indicate that an issue is currently taking place, with error code 315306 and being unable to find a valid license being the main problem players are encountering around launch. However, this error is usually seen before the servers go live, and now we’re officially in the Diablo 4 Early Access period it should have been largely resolved. It is possible that this and other errors will come to light during the launch window, as Diablo 4 is entirely server-based and needs constant access to them in order to maintain the game world, so large traffic spikes could push them beyond their limit. For any issues you run into, check the information below so you can fix error codes in Diablo 4 if a solution is available.
Diablo 4 error code 315306
“Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV. (Code 315306)”
If you’re seeing Diablo 4 error code 315306, then it usually means that you’re trying to access the game too early and the servers are not available yet, hence the game is unable to validate your license to connect with the online service. This could also appear if you’re trying to log in during the Early Access period but haven’t purchased a version of the game that gets you in at this time. The best fix for this error is to be patient and try again later, and while some players have reported success by deleting and reinstalling the game, we wouldn’t recommend that unless you have a very fast internet connection as the install size is huge.
Diablo 4 error code 316719
“There was an error. (Code 316719)”
Diablo 4 error code 316719 means that your connection to the servers has been lost, which is often preceded by a warning in the top left corner of your screen that the game is attempting to re-establish connection to the servers. Usually this is not due to a problem at your end, but rather a result of heavy server strain leading to disconnection. The only way to fix this is to log off from the main menu or restart the game, both of which will put you back into the queue for login, but hopefully it shouldn’t take long to get you reconnected.
Diablo 4 error code 395002
“Your account is currently locked. Please wait a few minutes and try again. (Code 395002)”
If you see this Diablo 4 error code then don’t panic, as although it sounds bad this is most likely a misattributed issue due to server congestion. If you aren’t able to reconnect within a few minutes, then try logging off from the main menu or restarting the game, and the problem should resolve itself or at least move on to a different error code. If you are continually being told your account is locked, you may need to contact Blizzard support for further assistance.
Diablo 4 error code 34200 / 34202
“Game servers are not available. Please try again later. (Code 34200 / 34202)”
This Diablo 4 error code means that the servers are currently offline, or are otherwise inaccessible. Now we’ve reached the full game launch window this error shouldn’t be seen any more, but if it does appear then there could be a wider server outage and you should check online for any announcements from Blizzard regarding this.
