NBC Sports Audio (Ch. 85) on SiriusXM presents a full day of live Kentucky Derby coverage on May 6, starting with a four-hour special edition of Down the Stretch at 10am ET. A three-hour pre-race show, hosted by Steve Byk live from Churchill Downs, then begins at 2pm ET, leading into NBC Sports’ coverage of the 149th “Run for the Roses” from 5-7:30pm ET with Larry Collmus handling the live race calls.

The Kentucky Derby is the first leg of the American Triple Crown of horse racing, historically run on the first Saturday in May. Since in 1875, this 10-furlong race runs on the dirt track at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY.
