Shooting reported at Nashville elementary school, multiple victims confirmed

A mass shooting was reported at a Nashville elementary school Monday morning.

The Nashville Fire Department said “multiple patients” were being treated after an “active aggressor” incident at The Covenant School.

Police sources told local ABC affiliate WKRN that four people were killed, including the shooter. That information was not confirmed elsewhere.

The school in south Nashville was swarmed by police and other first responders Monday morning.

The Covenant School is a private Christian school for children in preschool through sixth grade.
