‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Kristina Kelly’s Boyfriend Max: What to Know

Meet Kristina Kelly’s man! After making her return to Vanderpump Rules for season 10, the former SURver welcomed her first child, son River, with longtime love Max Ville.

Kelly and Ville have been together for more than 10 years, but viewers haven’t seen him on the Bravo series. As a close friend of Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney, Kelly was often seen in scenes at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant and during nights out with the girls in early seasons of the reality show. During season 2, she was notably one of the only castmates to press Kristen Doute about rumors she hooked up with Schroeder’s ex Jax Taylor — and proved to be right about the scandal.

Over the years, the Heartspring founder continued to make appearances on the series but made a more prominent return when Maloney needed support on season 10. (While arguably closest to Schroeder on the cast, the Next Level Basic author was no longer on the show following season 8.)

“Katie needed me, you know? I feel like she’s at a tough year, so if anything was gonna bring me back, it was my friend,” Kelly told Us Weekly in February 2023, referring to Maloney’s divorce from Tom Schwartz. “I’m a ride or die and she was going through a lot.”

During production, however, Kelly had a secret — she and Ville were expecting their first child.

“Lala [Kent] and Katie were definitely like, ‘Why can’t you drink?’ So I just said I was on some sort of, like, an antibiotic. Thank God, they weren’t like, ‘Let me see the bottle,’ or asked more questions. I think they were just so wrapped up in things they had going on that they didn’t really want to know the details,” she explained. “So they were like, ‘Oh, OK. Like, we’re not gonna tell you that you have to drink on that.’ Somehow I got away with it somehow. Katie was like, ‘When are you going back to the doctor? Are you getting a refill, are you gonna be able to drink this weekend?’ And I was like, ‘What?’ … It was really hard to keep it from Katie.”

One month after season 10 premiered, she gave birth.

“You’re more than I could have ever dreamed of, welcome to the world River,” Kelly wrote via Instagram at the time alongside a snap of the newborn.
