If they gave out awards for red carpet looks on Oscar night, then Ciara would easily snag the trophy for the most daring ensemble. The singer and entrepreneur turned heads as she arrived to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with husband Russell Wilson last night, wearing a sheer halter dress with a plunging neckline by Dundas. The completely see-through number featured a crystal cross-hatch design, revealing a teeny-tiny black thong underneath.

Featured in Dundas’ fall/winter 2023 collection, the dress left little to the imagination, but Ciara accessorized with opera gloves, dangling earrings, and black platform sandals by Santoni.

Ciara has been on a bit of a sheer streak lately. On March 9, she attended the Hollywood Beauty Awards in a see-through brown Saint Laurent dress, this time layered with a matching trench coat.

She also wore an edgy, revealing black number to the Dundas show during Paris Fashion Week on March 6.

Then she gave us this white moment at the Elie Saab show—also in Paris—on March 4.

But wait, there’s more! She was also spotted in this sheer, dotted halter neck dress by Giambattista Valli in Paris on March 3.

Ciara’s stripped-down aesthetic applies to her glam, too. She told ELLE.com about her less-is-more approach to makeup and emphasis on skincare as she launched her brand, OAM (On a Mission) in September.

“When I was younger, I used to think that I needed to have a full face of makeup to love my most beautiful self,” she said. “As I got older, I told myself I’m not going to allow myself to feel like I have to have makeup on all these different enhancements to feel beautiful and confident.”
