Julia Fox is one of the first celebrities to surface for a pre-New York Fashion Week event in the Big Apple. On Tuesday, Feb. 7, the “Uncut Gems” star stepped out sporting a polarizing denim outfit that is certainly not her first. Fox’s asymmetrical minidress was made entirely of waistbands from different pairs of jeans, lined up and sewn together vertically to make for a one-shoulder bodice, and horizontally to wrap around her hips like a barely-there miniskirt. The design featured straggling, fringe-like strips of denim at the front and back, which lent movement as she walked through the streets revealing her upper-thigh, bum, and side boob.
Fox, 33, was devoted to the fabric through and through, also opting for a puffy denim bomber, Gia Borghini denim ankle boots with a tall wooden heel, and a Medea denim bag that retails for $445. She wore her colorblock jean jacket off the shoulders to showcase every element of her look, along with the tattoos on her neck and shoulder. She flaunted smokey, metallic eye makeup, rosy, highlighted cheeks, and a glossy caramel lip. Her long brown hair was slicked back with a wet effect, and she employed square-shaped translucent nails and a single silver ring as the finishing touch.
Fox’s stylist Briana Andalore was responsible for putting together the ensemble, which comes as no surprise since she was also behind her Valerievi bikini jersey dress, dramatic foil gown, and Luis De Javier “garbage bag” dress, to name a few of the moments that made headlines and became fodder for the paparazzi.
