When drummer Donald Tardy isn’t bringing the neck-breaking grooves with Obituary, he’s rescuing cats with his Metal Meowlisha cat rescue charity. “All I do while I’m home from tour is before I eat my dinner, I load up my truck with food and fresh water,” said Tardy about his nightly Metal Meowlisha duties. “I’m like a UPS driver. I have a route every night. It takes me about two and a half hours. I bring them fresh water and food.”

Obituary recently released their new record Dying Of Everything, which our reviewer called “one more reason why they deserve their legendary status.”
