Supreme Court blocks Biden from ending Title 42

In a 5-to-4 decision, the Supreme Court decided to keep in place a pandemic-era restriction on immigration known as Title 42. The decision is in response to a petition from GOP-led states which argued that lifting the policy would lead to an even greater number of migrants crossing the border into cities where shelters are overcrowded.
