Most singles have already lost the dating week before Monday arrives.
They’re replaying Saturday night’s disappointing date.
Wondering why he never texted.
Convinced all the good ones are gone.
Thinking about deleting the apps…again.
By Sunday evening, they’ve already talked themselves out of believing next week will be any different.
But successful dating doesn’t begin when someone asks you out.
It begins with the mindset you choose before the next opportunity ever arrives.
Here are my three questions for you…..
1. Who am I actually looking for this week?
Not “someone who likes me.”
One person who fits your life—not your loneliness.
2. What dating habit am I leaving behind?
Checking my phone every five minutes?
Judging chemistry in the first seven minutes?
Calling every disappointing date a narcissist?
Leave one bad habit behind before the week begins.
Curious instead of critical?
Present instead of interviewing?
Confident instead of trying to be chosen?
Because pressure doesn’t create character.
Ok, that’s it for the questions! A little food for thought…
Every week I watch people sabotage perfectly good dating opportunities before they ever happen.
Not because they aren’t attractive.
Not because they’re too old.
Not because there aren’t good people left.
But because they carry last week’s disappointment into this week’s first date.
Monday doesn’t decide your dating life.
A year from now, you won’t remember the person who never texted back.
You won’t remember the disappointing Saturday night.
You probably won’t even remember their name.
But you will remember the week you decided to stop letting disappointment write your future.
I hope this is that week.
Now go meet the person who’s been hoping to meet someone exactly like you.
