Charlotte Center City Partners has announced America 250: Charlotte, a festival at Romare Bearden Park, 300 S Church Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 4:30 to approximately 9:30 p.m.
This free event features cultural performances, poetry readings, food trucks, a kids’ zone and a drone show finale.

America 250: Charlotte is presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated and Bank of America in partnership with the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation.
Please keep in mind that Charlotte’s Stars & Stripes Spectacular is taking place nearby at Truist Field. This ticketed event features a performance of American music by Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, followed by the WBT SkyShow Fireworks Show.
Romare Bearden Park is a popular place to watch SkyShow, so you should be able to see both the drone show and fireworks from the park. We are gathering some details on the timing of everything, so please check back for an update with confirmation.
