The WRAL Breaking News Tracker is at the scene of a tractor-trailer fire on Interstate 87 near Knightdale.
Wake County deputies at the scene said the 18-wheeler caught fire around 2:45 a.m. on Thursday.
The fire closed Exit 9 for Smithfield Road.
WRAL News is working to learn what caused the crash and if the driver was injured.
