Will Boston see any snow Monday? Here’s latest snow map

[ad_1]

A cooler breeze has moved behind an overnight front, so today feels cooler and below normal with highs in the low 30s and that breeze making it feel like the mid 20s at warmest.

We’ll keep things dry through the daylight hours with a mix of clouds and some breaks of sun.

Will we see any snow Monday?

Tonight into early Monday, a few light snow showers are possible, mainly along the Southern New England coast, Cape and Islands but the bulk of the precipitation stays south of New England.

Travel impacts look minimal from this system.

More snow chances later in the week

Looking ahead to the week, the overall theme turns cloudy and unsettled by the evening Tuesday. A busy weather pattern sets up with several systems passing through from midweek into next weekend.

That doesn’t mean nonstop storms, but it does mean we’ll have a few rounds snow with rain mixing in depending on timing and location. Who sees snow and who sees rain will depend heavily on the exact timing as highs will generally be in the 40s.

A stationary front will set up and guide the precipitation, exactly where that sets up is important. That will be the boundary of colder air to our north and milder air to our south. Also dividing the spots who see snow versus rain at times.

The first round of wintry weather comes in Wednesday evening to Thursday then next up with be Friday evening to Saturday.
