Three masked suspects robbed and shot a man near Bradshaw Road. He’s hospitalized, not critical. Suspects fled in his car; investigation ongoing.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was robbed and shot late Monday night near the 3100 block of Bradshaw Road, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the initial call came in as a possible robbery and shooting around 9:45 p.m. Information from witnesses, security cameras, and deputies at the scene confirmed the incident involved a robbery, a shooting, and a carjacking.
Two people were dining at Pho Bac Hoa Viet restaurant when they were confronted by three masked individuals dressed in all black as they exited. The man was robbed and shot, while the female victim managed to escape unharmed.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment and is not in critical condition, authorities said. The suspects fled the scene in a car, including the victim’s vehicle. Deputies later located the stolen vehicle, which was empty.
Investigators continue to search for the three suspects. ABC10’s Gurajpal Sangha was on scene and was told the department is reviewing surveillance footage and gathering additional witness accounts as the investigation unfolds.
