The Fine Print
Our Verdict
Very strange that there is no holding requirement. There are fees, full list here but an outline:
- Stocks & ETFs (Greater than $1 per share): $0.01 per share, **$1 Minimum
Stocks & ETFs (Less than $1 per share): 1% of trade value, **$1 Minimum
Inactivity fee: $15/ month for accounts under $25,000 with less than $15 in commission fees each month.
Withdrawals: Free (one per month), Any subsequent withdrawal in the same month is $1 for an ACH, $4 for a check and $10 for a wire.
Don’t really see how this is sustainable with no hold period. Seems a bit too good to be true. Would definitely be the best brokerage bonus if it all holds true but I’m feeling skeptical. What are we missing?
