Police investigate suspicious fire at apartment complex in Blackwood, New Jersey

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) — A fire tore through the leasing office at Lake View Apartments in Blackwood, New Jersey.

The complex is located along the 500 block of Lower Landing Road.

Crews arrived just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday to find the building fully engulfed in flames.

It took firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control.

Police say the fire did not spread to any of the residential apartment buildings, and no one was injuried.

Investigators say the cause of the fire is unknown and is being considered suspicious at this time.
