The original dress was lost in the Palisades Fire in early 2025.
LOS ANGELES — Nearly a year after Miles and Keleigh Teller lost their Pacific Palisades home in the Los Angeles wildfires, a key memento to the couple’s relationship was recreated.
The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor had his wife’s wedding dress remade and gifted to her on Christmas.
In a TikTok video, Keleigh opens a large box and pulls out a garment bag. Before she unzips it, she looks up to Miles recording in shock.
“Is this my wedding dress? Oh my God,” she said in the video.
She unzipped the bag to reveal a pristine replication of her wedding dress.
The home they shared was left a pile of dust and debris with only the fall shrubbery and a gate surrounding the lot still standing due to the Palisades Fire in January. It’s the most destructive wildfire in Los Angeles’s history, destroying an estimated 6,831 structures across 23,707 acres, according to the city of Malibu. It burned for 24 days, according to Cal Fire.
Keleigh posted photos of the home on Instagram a few days after the fire started of a before and after.
“We will come back stronger than ever,” she wrote at the time. “I wish I grabbed my wedding dress. Wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out.”
The couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in September.
