SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An East Sacramento restaurant is closed until further notice after it was vandalized Christmas Day, according to the restaurant’s social media post.
On Instagram, Brickland Restaurant and Bar on Folsom Blvd. said they were broken into and vandalized with “significant damage.” They said the temporary closure came about due to the extent of the damage.
The Sacramento Fire Department said the restaurant sustained fire and smoke damage and are considering the incident suspicious at this time. The incident is currently under investigation.
The Sacramento Police Department also confirmed their Crime Scene Investigation unit responded to the restaurant for a reported burglary.
