Wilson police respond to Walmart for report of shots fired

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) — Wilson police are investigating a report of shots fired in the area of Walmart.

Police have determined it is not an active shooter situation.

Chopper 11 did see someone being taken away to an ambulance. There is no word on that person’s injuries.

They have asked the public to stay out of the area while the investigation is taking place.
