Horse Leads Police on Chase in Gloucester County
MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police in Gloucester County had quite the fugitive on their hands.
Police responded to Hunter Woods in Monroe Township around 8 a.m. Friday morning for a report of a horse on the loose.
Officer O’ Lano found the horse, but the animal ran away before he could be caught.
After sprinting and chasing the animal through the neighborhood, the officer eventually captured the horse and returned him to his owners.
The Monroe Township Police Department posted about the chase on Facebook, saying, “We appreciate our officers’ efforts and those that assisted. These types of calls are not entirely uncommon for us, and we do our best to protect all of our animal friends that are a part of this community.”
