Pedestrian struck and killed in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed Friday night in Lehigh County.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of South 4th Street in Allentown, where they found a man lying unresponsive on the roadway. He was rushed to a hospital and later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not said whether the driver involved is facing any charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
