Throughout his career, Armanino LLP partner Tom Schulte has forged a reputation not only as a superb accountant but also as an impactful philanthropist. A true Southern California lifer, Schulte has spent most of his career in the audit side of Armanino, RBZ and Arthur Andersen. But business development was always on the back side of his business card. As of January 2022, it moved to the front of his business card as he now chairs the Southern California Growth Office of Armanino. Schulte’s more than 40 years of experience in Southern California and his in-depth knowledge of the deep bench of Armanino experts provides a powerful network that allows Schulte to help organizations in many ways beyond traditional accounting and compliance. In Shulte’s own words, “I’m here to help…” and that is what he has become known and admired for. He is also a dedicated philanthropist and experienced public, private and nonprofit company board member. Passionate about giving back, Schulte has chaired the Boards of Easter Seals of Southern California, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (Southern California and State) and the Los Angeles Business Council. He has had board leadership positions at Exceptional Children’s Foundation, the San Fernando Valey Girl Scout Council, the Playa Vista HOA, the California Association of Nonprofits and the UCSB Alumni Association. He has held committee positions at The Grammy Museum, the Los Angeles County Library Association and Our House. He has also served on several private and public company boards.
