Fight on Raleigh’s Glenwood South leaves one injured, another arrested

Police tape lined a section of bars on Glenwood South Wednesday morning as Raleigh police investigated a fight between two men.

Raleigh police told WRAL News the men had a fight in the middle of the road on Glenwood Avenue between West Johnson and West Peace Street around 1 a.m.

One of the men involved in the fight got cut in the back and required stitches. 

Jesus Andres Castro, 21, of Raleigh was charged with assault causing serious bodily injury. 

WRAL News spoke with people who were at the bars when it happened. They described hearing someone shout about a stabbing and they were concerned.

WRAL News is working to find out what led up to the fight and if anyone else is facing charges.
