GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A tasting benefit took place on Friday for the Empire State Aerosciences Museum and Capital Region Veterans Memorial. Flights for Veterans returned for its second year.
Attendees got to enjoy beer, wine and ciders from different businesses in an airplane hangar on museum grounds — all to raise money for those who served.
“We basically had the air museum take a few war planes out so we could fit some more vendors in,” event co-chair David Hennel said. “We have about 35 vendors show up. We’re hoping for a great crowd. The vendors love it, the people love it, so we’re really hoping to keep it going for many years to come.”
They said to mark your calendars for Veterans Day 2026 because they’re looking forward to hosting another event.
