PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man died on Tuesday after crashing into a semi-truck on Highway 97, Oregon State Police said.
The crash took place just after 5:30 p.m. near milepost 43 in Sherman County.
Investigators say Eric Barton, 66, was driving a Chevy Impala north on the highway when he crossed into the opposite lane and struck the southbound truck.
Barton was declared dead at the scene.
