1. Bitchin’ Donuts giving away free food after fire damages building
Seven people were displaced Saturday afternoon after a fire broke out in an apartment unit — also causing smoke and water damage to Bitchin’ Donuts which is located on the first floor of the building. Bitchin’ Donuts Owner Tania Sharlow said they will be closed for at least three to six months due to water and smoke damage.
2. 18 years after Jaliek Rainwalker went missing community holds vigil
Jaliek Rainwalker went missing from the Village of Greenwich 18 years ago. On Sunday, the community gathered for a candlelight vigil and called for “Justice for Jaliek”.
3. Holiday market, festival coming to Albany
The holiday season is upon us and the city of Albany is ready to celebrate. For four days throughout November and December, the Deck the Hall-bany Holiday Market & Festival will bring holiday cheer to downtown.
4. 1 dead, several injured in Thruway crash in Bethlehem
A three-vehicle crash on I-87 in Bethlehem left one person dead and several others injured on Saturday, according to New York State Police. The incident reportedly occurred near Exit 23 just before 4:45 p.m.
5. Authorities identify victims of deadly Milton plane crash
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the victims of the fatal plane crash in Milton on Friday. The aircraft’s pilot has been identified as 58-year-old Fredrick Baber of Port Charlotte, Florida and the sole passenger was 39-year-old Alexander Hoff of Hollis, New Hampshire.
